It is our great pleasure to announce that the 7th International Symposium on GABA and Advanced MRS will be held in Bergen, Norway, from September 13-15, 2023! This year’s event includes a 1-day compressed EDITINGSCHOOL course, followed by 2 days of Symposium. Registration, Abstract Submission and suggestions for Discussion Sessions are now open (see below for details).
Location:
The event will take place at Grand Hotel Terminus in Bergen, Norway. We will announce group-rate booking information soon. Once open, attendees are encouraged to book their stay at the Grand Hotel Terminus, but it is not required. We suggest booking early in order to ensure availability and receive the best rates.
Registration:
Please register for this year’s symposium here. As always, we encourage early registration which greatly helps us in organizing the event and working with the venue. Ticket price includes access to the workshop (Sept. 13) and symposium (Sept. 14 and 15). Please note that hotel stays are NOT included in ticket pricing. Ticket rates are listed below.

Abstract Submission:
We would like to invite you to submit an abstract using the following link. As always, we aim to offer all submitted abstracts a talk. If you need confirmation to be able to register, contact us directly. We encourage all abstracts involving GABA and/or Advanced MRS and have typically divided these into broad categories for acquisition, analysis, cognition, and clinical application.
Discussion Sessions:
As in prior years, we welcome suggestions on topics we can assign to discussion sessions. Please submit those here.
