Generating .BASIS file

Hi,

I am looking to use multiple different analysis software to fit my MRS .SDAT files I have generated from the Philips 3T scanner. Most of the software require the basis sets in the .BASIS file format. Can anyone please advise me on how to generate this file type or point me in the direction of a guide on how to generate it?

Thanks.

Hi Joe,
an easy way to generate basis files in the LCModel .basis file format is to use MRSCloud (https://mricloud.org/) which is based on FID-A. The advantage is, it is very user-friendly and you achieve directly the .basis files. There are many other ways like FID-A, FSL-MRS, VeSPA (VeSPA – Versatile Simulation Pulses Analysis – Open Source Imaging) etc. But you can also try existing basis sets, for example from Osprey (https://github.com/schorschinho/osprey/tree/develop/fit/basissets) or MR Spectroscopy Basis Sets | MR SCIENCE Laboratory.
Best,
Heiner

HI Heiner,

Thankyou very much for the advice, it is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe
