hmm, perhaps that is the issue with this file…because for this particular participant the filename is “.data”…
Could that be the corruption upon export you suggested?

No idea why it has .data as the ending, I’ve never seen that, but I don’t think it’s corrupted.
Your command quoted above
[out, out_w]=io_loadspec_twix(‘/home/khwood/SPSS2_Osprey_processed_MRS/sub-SPSS244971/ses-01/mrs/sub-SPSS244971_ses-01_acq-rtVS_press//home/khwood/SPSS2_Osprey_processed_MRS/sub-SPSS244971/ses-01/mrs/sub-SPSS244971_ses-01_acq-rtVS_press/meas_MID01172_FID24258_RightVS_svs_se_30_TXRX_TR200.data’);
appears to be strange to me in other ways to, how come there’s a // in the middle of it that refers to the home directory twice?
agh! Thank you for catching that typo on my part!
I removed the extra reference to the home directory for the metab file and receive the same error:
[out, out_w]=io_loadspec_twix(‘/home/khwood/SPSS2_Osprey_processed_MRS/sub-SPSS244971/ses-01/mrs/sub-SPSS244971_ses-01_acq-rtVS_press/meas_MID01172_FID24258_RightVS_svs_se_30_TXRX_TR200.data’);
When I load the ref file this is the feedback I receive:
[out, out_w]=io_loadspec_twix(‘/home/khwood/SPSS2_Osprey_processed_MRS/sub-SPSS244971/ses-01/mrs/sub-SPSS244971_ses-01_acq-rtVS_press-ref/meas_MID01173_FID24259_RightVS_svs_se_30_TXRX_NWS_TR2000.dat’);
Does this output provide any clues as to next steps?
Thank you greatly for your feedback and expertise!

The fseek error for the metabolite data suggests that you’re still pointing to a file that does not exist under that particular path.
The second one (reference data, which, curiously, have the correct .dat extension) loads flawlessly.
I copied the “.data” file and saved it with the appropriate “.dat” extension, then ran the MATLAB command again:
[out, out_w]=io_loadspec_twix(‘/home/khwood/SPSS2_Osprey_processed_MRS/sub-SPSS244971/ses-01/mrs/sub-SPSS244971_ses-01_acq-rtVS_press/meas_MID01172_FID24258_RightVS_svs_se_30_TXRX_TR200.dat’);
The file was found!
and Osprey was able to load, process, analyze, and quantify the data for this participant! HOORRAYY!!! I’m so thrilled.
Thanks so much for your expertise and suggestions on this issue!
