I am seeking some guidance for analyzing 3D MRSI spectra acquired on a 3T Philips scanner.
My goal is to analyze the spectra and obtain metabolite concentration maps. I have been searching for the best software for this pipeline; however, LCModel does not natively support multislice MRSI, and I have been encountering numerous bugs and stability issues while using Oryx.
At the moment, I am completely stuck. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could recommend alternative software tools, as there seem to be very few out-of-the-box options for multislice/multivoxel MRS.
Receintly we published this tool for 2D MRSI analysis at Philips:
And I intensionally did not include 3D functionality there because after years of working I am still curious how is it possible to get a good 3D MRSI dataset at Philips.
However, from the technical side it is definitely possible to extend the tool to 3D. We can consider having a collaboration on this topic in the near future.

3D MRSI is very relevant to my current work, and I am currently facing the challenge of finding a robust tool for processing and analysing my 3D multivoxel data. I have tried several existing approaches, but so far I have encountered important limitations with the available tools. Therefore, I think extending your tool to support 3D data could be very useful for my work, and potentially for other researchers working with 3D MRSI as well.
I would be very happy to contribute from the scientific and user side, for example by providing datasets, helping to define the requirements and workflow, testing the implementation, and evaluating the results on real data.
I would be very interested in discussing this further and seeing whether we could define a feasible collaboration. If you are available, perhaps we could arrange a short meeting to discuss the idea and what would be involved from both sides.
