Publishing with Osprey

Hi all,

I’ve been wondering whether there are any clinical publications that use the Osprey software already. I’m specifically thinking about difficulties with reviewers requesting quality parameters that Osprey currently doesn’t have but that have been historically reported (eg, CRLB, % error). Would the creatine SNR and FWHM be sufficient to ensure data quality?
Also, has anyone already published any HERCULES data?
I couldn’t find publications with Osprey or HERCULES.

Best,
Andreia

Hope it helps.

Thank you so much, Steve. This is very helpful!

Hi Andreia,

Osprey has a bunch of citations by now; I see plenty of applied papers although I don’t keep track of them in greater detail.

The equivalent of the Gannet fit error is the relRes quantity in the QC outputs. Indeed, we always report SNR and FWHM as evidence of good data quality.

CRLBs (and several other QC criteria) will be available with Osprey 3 (I’ve been saying for a while now that release is not too far away, but it really isn’t  ).

Hi Georg,

Great, thanks! This is great.

Andreia
